Morning all, a crispy morning here with a low of -4.9 overnight. The sky promises another lovely day is brewing.

I'm wondering if my temperature sensor is broken as it says it never got below -0.2 here last night. It's not white frost here but there's ice on the cars

Possibly not. I get my info from a chap registered on Wunderground, just had a quick check of local stations reporting on there, the one in Wells says -0.1 overnight. Oddly, the lowest temps seem to have been the hilltops instead of the usual lower ground frost pockets. Have a look here....move the map around and you can see what I mean, I use the Stoke St Michael info as it's less than half a mile from me and the same height.

Brrr lowest temp is being recorded now of -2oC.

Beautiful crisp sunny day.  Me thinks a day in the garden once it defrosts a bit.

Another glorious day today. Min of -2.3C this morning, so not as cold as the previous night. It did feel colder though.

IMGP1092_sm.jpg

Off to see the mighty Saints in the early kick-off on Sunday. Might have to stick the thermals on.

Just about touched freezing last night. Ice on the car this morning. Bit of a breeze as well. Looking a touch milder from sunday now. Top temp up from 4 to 6c now.

My mate went to the Norwich game on Wednesday. They were so happy when they scored. Not 'cos of the result... they just wanted avoid Extra Time and go home.

I was there too. Don't blame them for wanting to go home. Couldn't feel my toes by the end. :cold:

There's talk in the model thread about a few snow flurries this Saturday in the South West which might give a dusting.

I'll take anything at the moment!

It looks like the coldest temps that were being progged a few days ago, has moved away from this area now, due to cloud.

Yes indeed low temperatures from Sunday to Wednesday has now predicted to lift 3 degrees or so. Little frost too for my location.

Too far east to be affected by this. And it looks like the deeper cold air is too far east, so for that we are too far west./ south/ wherever..
