A much nicer day than the last few days with clear skies all day and feeling quite cold especially in the shade. Temperature reached 5.5°C. Currently 5.0°C.

Once the Sc cleared it's been a cracking day here with  the temp creeping up to 8C Quite an interesting midday sounding, which was after the cloud had gone. which shows an exceptionally dry layer above where the cloud was before the rest of the sounding becomes relatively moist.

I recognise that palm tree closest to the camera, I'm pretty sure I had a handful of coconuts under it, back in 2009 and 2000.

Having crossed warm seas with uppers of -4C, no problem snowing. Just shows the vendetta the weather has against here in the UK lol.

Meanwhile, cloud has majorly broken up here and the temperature is on its way down.

It makes a nice change to have a low humidity at this time of day, meaning my dew point is at -2.2°C, temp at 3.6°C

The blue and orange hue is on the horizon again.. :)

Absolutely fascinated about how this colder air keeps holding in the latest weather models. This translates too three days on the bounce of sub 4c day temperatures. The wet and windy stuff is delayed again. Ultimately I think the south West winds will prevail but this cold block is putting up a fight.

As long as you weren't anywhere near that coconut tree in 2000 or 2009, that's the main thing.

I follow a facebook page called Extreme Weather and they recently posted a video of snow falling heavily in Valencia. Looked awesome.

In San Miguel de Salinas near Torreveija on the Costa Blanca (about 40 miles down coast from Beni where we used to go when my wife's mum was alive and an expat there) it was minus 1c today. Unheard of really.

Yep. 3 night stay in Beni is enough. Been on a few w/ends there with my other half and sis-in-law. Crazy on the strip at nite but a good blast if u dont take the place too seriously. Beautiful beach and promenade.

Yeah - we tend to stay away and just do a day trip there. Hen do was quite scary really.. there were so many fights kicking off (not us!!) we gave up and went back to our villa. Ruined our night out. Had an epic hangover the next day though.

Temp was heading down, then went back up for a bit. I noticed a blanket of cloud out to the East, but wasn't sure which way it was moving. Temp has started to descend again, currently -1°C

-1.0c now

Definitely a lot colder here tonight now the cloud bank has gone, currently -2.7c. Looking forward to another sunny day tomorrow, even if it will be spent barrowing shed loads of gravel onto new paths.

I've just been outside, it has now clouded over.

Yesterday's forecast was for cloud, then they changed it tonight and said it would be clear tonight lol
