Quite a pleasant morning, albeit fairly cloudy with a broken Sc layer. temp 10C and a breeze from the NNW. The main concern over the next couple of days, particularly in the east of the region will be a fairly severe air and ground frost. More so on Wednesday. I suspect that in many places the temps could well be lower than shown here

Seems to struggle to get some warmth your way. Peaked @ 14.5°C at: 15:13, over here, and our colleague down in the microclimate scored higher..

We did briefly touch 14°C at lunchtime but it quickly dropped afterwards and it's stayed just below 11°C since then. 10.7°C now.

Well, I think it's called that. It appears to fall from the sky, and is making things wet. It's a clear liquid.

Is it rain?

Yes a very wet (!!!) evening in Warminster with showers depositing a massive 1mm in the gauge, doubling the monthly total!

All it's really done is dampen the dust onto the clean car lol.

Had a monsoon earlier in the month giving a whopping 6.2mm but that's all we've had all month here.

Something very weird happened just moments ago..

It has been lovely today, with just a light breeze. So,I started to clean the pond filters out, all of a sudden, the wind went nuts for about 30 seconds, next doors washing went flying, leaves were raining down all over the place and as soon as it came, it disappeared, and it's back to gusts of around 3mph. I just checked the station, and it recorded 27mph.

chart.thumb.png.69c2c1449490c7f5fc54dcd68a8585e5.png

anyway..

Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 34% - Dew: -1.2°C - Bar: 1031.46hPa - Wind: NE ~ E @ 5mph.

Something else I noticed.. the pressure dropped at the exact time of the freaky wind.

Clear skies almost all day and quite warm out of the breeze. Went to Durdle Door earlier and the cool breeze was quite welcome after walking up the hill. :D

Can't remember the last time it rained here now. Been in Penzance for the weekend and it is probably the first time I've had five consecutive dry days there! Back to overnight ground frosts.

Currently 1.2C, sunny with unbroken skies. Not a breath of wind either

Got to 6c at 5am this morning, was 9c at midnight after a lovely sunny day and warm afternoon of 15c.
Now 9c and lovely clear blue skies again.
Wind this morning has moved from ENE to a more SSE this morning and increased a bit to 12-15mph.
