Yep just been blowing again heee in Newbury. Probably associated with the shower overhead too.

Made an error of forgetting it could be windy tonight and will be wasting a good ten mins tomorrow morning retrieving the recycling bin, the bag and it's contents. All I can hear is the damn thing rolling about outside.

Slight dusting of snow from overnight here!? Didn't expect that.

What a noisy night! Very windy and a number of squally hail/sleet showers that woke me up.

Garden chairs and number of pot plants have blown over or moved. Worse than Doris here.

Morning all, what a night! Sounded like Doris had brought in her big brother to finish the job properly, woken by the noisiest of hail storms. Huge hail stones too, most of the garden still covered by a layer of them, looks like it snowed.

It looks like snow here too but it's the overnight hail storm that's the culprit.

Thought we were getting some 40-50 mph winds overnight.
From what I noticed we had average winds 18-22mph with one 37mph gust and a few 30 mph gusts.

This morning, blue skies, 1009.8 hPa, WSW 15-18mph, 7.3°C

Not very windy here at all really, apart from few gusts around 30mph associated with nearby showers (one of 32mph 7:22pm last night).

It sometimes isn't from the west for some reason. Calm this morning, average wind 1mph lol.

Windy during the early hours here, gusting to 39mph. Still windy today, but it was blue skies from the word go. It's a bit more milky now, though. Great drying weather for washing though, with the lower humidity.

Temp: 11.2°C - Hum: 51% - Dew: 1.4°C - Bar: 1013.38hPa - Wind: W @ 12mph.

Sunny all day so far but quite a cold breeze making it feel colder than it is. 10.6°C.

It was almost the perfect day for solar recording, since I relocated it to a better position,  but cloud rolled in just now, and spoiled it. 8hrs of sunshine recorded though.

Today's high I think was moderated by a stiff breeze, however we achieved a belting 12.0°C at: 12:54.. Spring has sprung, two days into March, very nice..

Mind you IF I am to believe Frosty in the MAD thread, he's well on to dreaming of a White March, but then again Frosty by name Frosty by desire..

It started vile, showed all the signs of staying vile and it didn't disappoint. It's rained all day with light levels akin to very early morning. Hope tomorrow is better.

It has reminded me of a thundery plume today - some nice clouds rolling in, showing some minor instability. Speaking of which, one or three sferics showing up..

Just like a thundery plume, I expect it to slide East or West of me lol

Still undecided East or West...or will they die before they make it across the channel, only time will tell..

My money says they go to the East of your abode..
