Been snowing on and off all day here in Reading (very lightly) but it picked up a bit in the last 20mins. Peculiar as radar doesnt show much, quite a good sign as the more unstable air is predicted for tomorrow and Saturday....

Are you sure it is snow..... :D:pardon:

Interesting weekend coming up for us, with some nowcasting coming into play with moisture coming in over the North Sea on Friday eve/Saturday.

Nipped up to Princetown early evening. Light drizzle with the odd flake chucked in. Hope everyone gets to see at least one snow grain in the next 3 days.

Sweet FA here, what a surprise. I'd take snizzle to be honest, things are quite desperate in Dorset

I had to laugh at the lovely Alexis' forecast this evening. All showers dying out north of us through the weekend BUT she was quick to add that they are expecting double figures next week. I bet we don't struggle with those if they verify.

Wouldn't doubt that. Always the way.

I've just been out for a smoke, and shone the flashlight in to the sky - one or two flakes blowing around in the wind.

You can occasionally see one or two on the webcam.. sometimes frequent, then nothing for a while.

If only I still smoked, I might have a chance of seeing a flake and generally being a happier human, god I miss a smoke :(

Guess it's the cloud and the breeze holding it like that.

After being below 0C all day, the DP has risen above freezing in the last two hours, not conductive for snow at this present time:
