Had a bit of rain not long ago giving 0.4mm. Nothing showing on the radar here but some of it was heavier than drizzle so would've thought it would show on there. Just in time for the dog walk.

It is completely overcast out there, so not surprised about the drop of precip..

Always surprises when an easterly component to the weather. Somewhere in our region will see snow falling at some point before Monday for sure.

hopefully Purbeck :p

My expectations for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday are for similar to several days in March 2013 ; bitter wind, sunny spells, snow flurries from the thickest cloud but very minimal settling.

All set gown here for some chilly days. Snow threat has gone now from here. Two days of cold and sunny days followed by two days of cold overcast conditions. Think the feature Monday will be the wind. Near gale force south easterly winds will make a supposedly milder day feel quite raw!

Funny thing is, it won't even be an Easterly for here, until Monday. It then only lasts for 12 hours .. lol

Nice to see a radar with easy to West movement of precip, and it's all wintery precip hitting the east coast.

Breathe in y'all

BBC forecast saying we'll be 'stuck in the deep freeze' over the weekend with snow showers and some accumulations in places, then show the cloud and 5/6C for the majority. Make your mind up lol!

Morning all, an overnight low of -1, currently -0.9, there's not a breath of wind outside so doesn't feel cold. Easterly winds picking up later?

Welcome ThatGFS, and what a first post to make, lucky you! Can I take it you're a mad snow lover too?

Light snow here in Reading. I'm sorry if I haven't yet added my location to my profile will do now, first post! :D

Welcome! I must apologise for doubting until I looked on the radar and there it was - a nice little shower over reading, all on its own! Do you have one of those snow making machines running?

:D

Morning all I actually saw snow grains this morning. Very light and for all of five minutes but it was definitely about.

Slight frost this morning with a 0.9C low, but a nice frost yesterday and Monday with -2.0C and -2.7C. Probably colder than anything this 'cold spell' is going to bring..lol

Probably not the coldest max of the winter anymore either as Friday's forecast has gone up to 4/5C.
