My cumulus mx has stopped working. Now I just get an error when I try and launch it. So it's not my weather station that's playing up, it's my software

One thing one cannot do when bathing their 6 month old baby is get up and check if it is hailing!!

The radar shows red over my postcode about half an hour ago and something was battering against the bathroom window, does anyone know if it was hail?

Temperature is dropping quickly, 3.7c from 7.2c an hour ago.

We had hail here, really heavy too.

Not sure what's going on with the data being fed to wunderground? It showing my station as 10.6c but it's not showing that on my display.. :cc_confused:

ILYTCHET6 if anyone can confirm for me that it is showing rather night temps I'd appreciate it

The dashboard says 2.6C but the graph at 9:30pm shows 2.9C - wondering if it is trying to catch up on the data since it hasn't been online?

@karlos1983

If I refresh your wunderground page, I briefly see 2.5C before it goes back to 10.6C

I'm wondering if you have CMX running twice, by mistake? Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and click your task manager, see if you have multiple instances running. There is an option in CMX to stop you running more than one.

If in doubt, reboot. If that doesn't work, I find smashing my keyboard up helps.. ireful.gif

Seems to be a day of Wx station and software mishaps! Mine crashed at around 5pm today, then self-rebooted with -40c showing! Had to get into the dayfile to remove that spike!

Temperature is a little lower than expected, however I see the cloud from the French storm now moving up from the Channel, which should bring it back up.

T: 2.1c DP: 1c

Wind: NW/W at 12mph

Todays rain: 13.2mm

Morning all. Off to the homeland today. AKA Dorset. Looking like a sunny Chrisp one. Ideal for dog walking. Will make a nice change from soggy dartmoor. Next week looking dry and progressively chillier. Nice

Well the storm never really materialised to the strengths as was forecast.
2.6mm of rain in total yesterday.
A few gusts of 40mph around between 6pm and 7pm. The windspeed average during its peak was 20-25mph when it turned from SSE to WSW.

The temp dropped from 6c to 4c at midnight and back to 6c at 2am.
We have had a few light rain showers this morning, 1mm worth.
Now 5.8c, 994.6 hpa, wind is pretty non existent at 1-2mph NE.

Morning all, a much brighter day today, blue sky with the odd wispy cloud floating about. Chillier this morning with a slight frost, looking forward to the dryer week ahead.

Good morning. A lovely sunny day, with some warmth from the sun......so much so that I've been able to hang the washing outside for the first time in weeks. A leisurely inspection of the garden sees the snowdrops looking at their best, daffodils poking through and one periwinkle flower in a sheltered spot. I am also positive that I saw a wasp, isn't that a bit early, or is it just a particularly foolhardy wasp?

I cannot make head nor tail of the model discussion thread. Are we getting snow or will it just be a particularly cold spell? Can anyone kindly clarify? Ta very much!

After a low of 2°C, the cloud thinned and gave some spells of sunshine. It felt warm too.

Temp: 8.6°C - Hum: 75% - Dew: 4.4°C - Rain: 0.8mm  - Bar: 998.78hPa - Wind: WSW @ 5mph.
