Interesting how the forecasts have underestimated the maximum temperatures here, over the last few days. They're under by 3°C today.

After the St the Sc appeared so after a fine clear start it's been a cloudy day. Temp struggled up to 6C

It's been a lovely day here, sunny but not as much of a warm up as yesterday, reached the heady heights of 3c here but already on the way down, currently 2.6. Shady parts of the garden are still covered in thick frost, another top up tonight hopefully.

Yep currently 5.6C. although I do still have frost in the shade on glass and dustbin!

Got up to 5.8°C this afternoon after a low of -1.2°C last night. At least with all this sunshine it warms the house quite nicely during the day.

Temp down from 4.4c to 2.4c in the last hour, only down to -1.4 this morning - Will be colder tonight for sure.

seemingly the MAD thread is in a mood for chastisement tonight, as the long hard winter fails to deliver, so the washing is being hung out to dry..

-0.8c currently. Coldest so far of this spell of cold weather. Looking forward to tomorrow. Going to get to only 4c with cloud over head it's going to feel properly cold. Throw in the chance of an odd snow flurry, great day for a long dog walk and then back home with the log burner on, its gonna feel seasonal!

So nice to see the sun here for a couple of days and the last 2 nights have been awesome for astronomy. I need a dew shield for my scope!

Freezing cold and sunny is fantastic in my book. Noticed the pond where I work is looking really low for this time of year.

I've got a feeling something might be around the corner in terms of the white stuff over the next week. If you notice the "other" side of the NH is getting zonal.

We are in the buckling belt. The thing is, it could go many ways. But we are still in the game.

Not according to the BBC apart from a few light flurries possible on Welsh high ground tonight

I see Hurn had a Tg of -11C last night. Anyway temp 3C here but a layer of Sc which i suspect is going to be difficult to shift. nNo wind

Wow my station is reading minus 7. I come back this evening I hope weather has improved
