Heavy drenching drizzle in Stroud all day, stopped me working on a landscaping job. No rain on the V4 radar as yet though!

Even the most recent V7 radar hasn't picked it all up!

Looking like some decent fresh sunny weather for a couple of days from midweek. Of course it's back to dingy and dull come the weekend

So I found my rain gauge and it would appear its broken. So I guess I will be buying a new one.

Still uncertain then on the specifics of the zonal train coming in. If we get this continental drift bringing colder weather might make it harder for inroads.

Yep - I've not had drizzle last this long before and only produce 3.8mm lol

I've just spent the best part of 3 hours playing with some javascript and css to make an animation on the header of my website. It cycles through a few weather stats coming in from my station. It shouldn't have taken that long to do, but I always seem to do it the hard way! Still, its working nicely. :)

Put a link if your website up Mapantz, it's probably in your signature but you don't see them on iPhones on here.

Amazingly this cold pool has developed from Spain and France travelling north. Giving a blob of cold uppers in Devon and Cornwall. Bit mad really.

This must be one this winters 'wildcards'.

Lots of winter's over style posts in the model thread considering it hasn't even started yet lol.

Without being explicit, "Winter" was last Thursday, wasn't it?

Overcast to start with, now brighter, although completely cloudy. I'm hoping for some sunshine later. I'm feeling extra cold today, so the heating has gone on early.

Temp: 6°C - Hum: 88% - Dew: 4.2°C - Bar: 1035.79hPa - Wind: E ~ SE @ 1mph.

Slowly but surely, the MetO have adjusted the minimums for tonight/tomorrow morning. It was showing -2°C  yesterday, then -1°C last night, 1°C this morning, now 2°C is the forecast minimum for here lol
According to thee BBC, it was meant to be bright sunshine now, instead, its grey leaden skies.
