On the plus side, it won't be snowing in the south east for much longer :p

I can't remember if I read it this morning or I dreamt it, but did you get Cumulus working? I presume that would be the old Cumulus and not the latest Cumulus MX?

Yes I got cumulus working, old style, but I can't see it working with Wground.

Shower activity pepping up in SE Wales, looks good for West Country but maybe just to far south for Swindon if they make it this far

I got my eye on them ;)

Might just skim to the south (if they hold intensity) but they look to be edging slightly more east so we could get lucky, if they hit Stroud then i'm sure Swindon would be next.

Plenty packing in behind on the same trajectory as well, Im calling it "the stroud and swindon".....streamer ha.

Though on more realistic note these showers normally die before getting much further inland, we can but hope.

The hi-res 5km NMM agrees, although, again, the area is smaller:

It might seem a silly question, but have you set up the Wunderground side of things in Cumulus, and enabled it? I only see one station in Lychett, and that's a Davis.
It might be better to use Cumulus MX, as the older one isn't supported anymore.

Still a possibility of some shower activity over the moor between 12 and 3 in the morn.

Plenty up top at Princetown so I hear. It's sticking up there too. Where as here a wee bit lower temperatures are above freezing. Just had another 5 minute sleet / snow shower. You should be fine tomorrow especially if you go up great miss tor

Aside from the will it, won't it, is it, isn't it of the snow, today with 13mm has been the wettest day since 21st November . That shows what a dry winter it is and it looks fairly dry for a while yet.

Yes I'd say we must have had 25mm here today easily, I can't say for sure as some prat has lost my rain gauge when I moved

Good wind direction for a streamer to set up and head towards this way doubt it will though, live in hope.

22mm here today which made it the wettest day since moving house in September. Shame none of that was snow.

There's been a couple of sleety showers in Exeter in the past two hours.  Exeter Airport is recording 2C.

Why are all the showers dying before crossing the Severn Estuary!

As usual they will probably miss Stroud and go just to the south of us! hope I'm wrong! Damn you topography!  I like the sound of the Stroud and Swindon streamer fingers crossed

The trip up to Birdlip earlier was a bit of a disappointment just a very slight dusting which disappeared very quickly but the journey back was icy.

No need to install anything, just copy the folder CumulusMX to C:\

Inside, you will see an application file called CumulusMX - right click it, and run as administrator. If successful, you should be able to put this in your browser: http://127.0.0.1:8998/index.html - that should take you to the web socket, where all your info and settings are.
If you get stuck, gimme a shout.
