All snow and wind warnings now removed

Ice warnings remain

They are a bit unusual though in that they mainly relate to snow...

"Ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces especially where showers of sleet, snow and hail occur. 2 to 4cm of snow may affect low lying areas of Scotland, with 5 to 10cm over higher ground. Elsewhere, 1 to 2cm is locally possible."

Snow cover now frozen and staying for the night.

Some pokey showers coming through the irish sea heading this way.

A day of gusty and convective heavy hail showers here... And by the looks of it another one is incoming :blink2:

This is how a perfect winter weather looks like, well for Central EU for sure, not so for Ireland.

Tomasz Schafernaker on BBC London ended his forecast with hints of something maybe a little bit colder coming back later next week

Has everyone given up on a snow event for Sunday? Looks reasonably interesting for the east of the country, particularly the SE where still not out of the question that it will remain all snow.
