25.1C today, the third warmest May maximum here since 1980.

This comes after the second warmest maximum on record in April (23.1C) and 4th warmest maximum on record in March (19.0C).

It seems like if we get a flow from the right direction, we'll get close to or break records quite easily at the moment!

A sparkling Mediterranean feeling day here. At 8am it was 15c and 4pm looks like it could be 24c. Strong sunshine all the way.

27c is the UKs high so far in Hawarden if confirmed it will be the warmest day of the year so far

Widely 22c to 26c across England and Wales

Will possibly beat that today too. Yesterday at 10am Aboyne was 19.9C, today at 10am it was 23.7C so nearly 4C warmer at the same time.

If it was 26c at around 11am 30c should be hit

Aboyne it looks unlikely to hit yesterday's high. After a good start it's kind of stalled, probably due to a good breeze getting going (certainly has in Dyce). Still, nearly 25C at 13:00 in NE Scotland in May isn't something to be complained about.

Doesn't look like we'll hit 30C, Lossiemouth seems to be on it's way down now after hitting 29C.

Extremely unlikely now, and I found the figure ......

"The Scottish record May temperature is 30.9C.

That was recorded in Inverailort in the Highlands five years ago."
