Northeasterly now less likely according to the beeb for next week

More likely scenario is high pressure to the south and lows crossing the north

Sounds to me like MOGREPS was wrong afterall..

LPs to the north and HP to the south sounds dreadful.

Dreadful and more likely, knowing our luck.

There are members in the MOD thread certain of an easterly who also predicted epic cold from the recent NW fail. I know Scotland did very well out of it, but for most of England it was a total fail, especially the north west where huge snowfalls were predicted.

I can see this all getting watered down and the high settling over the U.K. or possibly to the south (but hopefully not).

That seems to be using old data . The midweek chart he showed looked like this mornings 00 hrs UKMO output.

Not sure Nick - i would have thought he would of been suggestive of a NWly next week..

The forecast is a pretty massive downgrade from yesterdays that i saw myself.

TBF the EC mean looks really poor out to 168 this evening..

infact its crap.

Just posted about the EC mean Nick- its not good.

Even the NWly looks meak on the mean with the -5 line not even making it into England.

I don’t know if anyone has the stats, but temperatures must be running above average in the south for this winter. After 3 crappy wet snowfalls and barely any air frosts, it’s been far from interesting.

With the strengthening sun, that would probably bring double figures down here ?

Less said about ECM the better.

As long as you don’t comment on it in the MOD thread. If it doesn’t show what everyone wants to see and you highlight that, they’ll pounce on you ?

Out of interest can you name a single poster 'certain' of an easterly? Not sure I've seen one?

Unlike a lot of people in there who like to make others look stupid, it’s not my style to name and shame. Let’s just see how this all pans out. Like most, I’d love to see an easterly, but they’re like gold dust these days. Fingers crossed though ?

Is there an option to auto react to every post with an emoticon or is knockers limpet supposed to be 'funny' or making a point? Is it possible to react confused to a confused reaction? :cc_confused:

As long as it doesn't rain, I couldn't care less.

It’s probably below average here too, we’ve just not seen anything that exciting.....yet!
