Does anyone know when the netweather winter forecast is due to be released?

From what Ive experienced of this autumn so far... I think winter will be front loaded... mild Jan and then cold again for early spring.

One cannot ignore the high pressure? Blocking patterns over the mid atlantic nor the Greenie High.

Nlys defo... easterlies I dont think so. Sustained cold I think yes.

Mild wet and windy.. I dont think so. Colder more settled the form horse this winter.

Hmm Northerlies a bit dull for my neck of the woods, but I'll enjoy any clear and cold weather on offer. Wouldn't want to see that pattern repeating all winter though!

Quite the opposite I think.

No, just look at that epic cold spell (in the Netherlands) February 2012 and the gfs predictions shortly before that cold spell

Didn't realise they were actually responsible for making the weather.  Like you they can have an opinion with possibly more input.

PS  I tried to copy the URL and present it as an image but it wouldn't let me

Right click and save the image to your machine and then upload it (if you're on a pc/laptop)

If you're using a mobile device, long press the image and then save it to your device, and then upload it.

Some absolute tripe in the other thread tonight!

A few Steve M wannabees with a lot less knowledge. Life was less stressful when all I had was ceefax page 401! :)

That maybe so, but does it stop you from typing in ridiculous riddles? None of it makes sense, even to those who's first language is English.

Tell me about it! I'm going to avoid the thread from now on and just stick to a few days ahead and the 48 hour models.

It would be a whole lost easier if you explained properly, what is showing on the charts that you post. How on earth do you expect people to understand  "Then you have little charlie large spuds-around-icelandic' rims" ?

I tried to Google it, but my parental settings on my router flagged up some suspect material.

Obviously a comedy character..

Fairplay with your quotes etc.

But having 5'928 hits your just taking the pi## fella...

Just adding a few little quirky footnotes to the discussion...THATS ALL!

And again with knowledge.

If you would like to discuss anything in terms of modeling/meteorlogical' meaning pm-me pal...

I'll answer any question you chuck up...

No problems!!!!

Well.. you continue with your pig latin-posts. If you find that they start going missing in the model discussion thread, then you'll know why. :)
