This autumn started off seasonal but seems be getting progressively worse,i really hope the gfs is  wrong. Our autumns are getting beyond a joke now.

I’ve had the weather I like about 10 times in the last 3 years.

That's about 5 times more than me!

Must admit that I'm getting sick of the models throwing up warm spells. We're getting close to the Halloween and Bonfire Night season now, and I'd like something more befitting weather wise to show up by then.

Another run of sickening model outputs. Nearly November for heaven's sake. Getting sick to my back teeth of warm crap from southern europe. Nothing good weather-wise comes out of the south.

Could be 3 years in a row regarding warm weather at Halloween, agreed it's all getting a bit tedious now. The continuation of heat and warmth over Spain/Portugal and Iberia seems relentless...surely it must end soon?

If the rain in spain stays mainly on the plane, then why won't the heat?

If only we had these warm synoptics in July and August. Bit late now. A nice cool high sat over us giving sunny days and some frost and fog by night would be ideal.

I  do agree this ridiculous warm late October thing is getting a tad bit tedious. It's rinse and repeat every year almost. Then again, something will give in. October and November 2009 were very mild and gave us a cold winter, so who knows. Plus if there is another storm in the mix, that could knock the temps down to size.

Another scorching Halloween weekend according to GFS 0z and 6z....

ecm isnt far off either...... but im not so sure about it being overly warm.

after all this moisture, calm air, clear shies.... reckon fog could be an issue, so whilst the air might be warm/muggy, if we get fog itll temper the temperatures, lol.

I make it the last four years the UK has had significantly above-average temperatures at Halloween. It's a bit too early to be expecting wintriness (though it can happen) but there should at least be a chill in the air.

They're all about to type potential in to their edit boxes too!

As in, 'the NAVGEM's intimating that "all the 'building blocks are now in place", so the outlook is 'loaded with potential'?:D
