Well it is that time of year again.  Last year it was too warm to have this thread open.

This year looks like we may get enough cold to have snow in places.

And with that in mind I would like to introduce The Snow And Cold Rampers Association!

This is a thread for all those who love snow and cold and want to ramp about it.

Pictures/funny stories and anything you want to talk about is allowed as long as you love snow and cold.

This is a fun thread and as with other years I will issue membership numbers to those who wish to have one.

Enjoy

I'd like a number, too, please. We're off to a flyer here: two coverings already and we're still in autumn! :cold:

I can see crippling blizzards arriving over Christmas and heralding 4 months of frequent snowstorms with -20 uppers bombarding us from the north and east on a weekly basis. I expect most of the UK to be snowed in from December 28th to April 6th so panic buying from supermarkets is highly recommended . This cold spell will make winter 1962/63 look like December 2015:help: Is this the kind of thing you are after Snow Queen One?:unknw: I was going to put this in the winter forecast thread, but I don't want a public flogging when it turns out to be wet and windy and mild instead:oops:

Shoppers warned not to venture out at 3am boxing day morning for the Next sale as Arctic blast predicted to turn uk into a fozen waste land.

Swfc  your number is 16/105

Well charts in FI look good the north could see the white stuff soon.  It is going to be cold in my neck of the woods by the weekend I feel with some good frosts.

Last time I saw snow was year before last.  It only stayed on the ground for a day. lol

Please can I have number, thank you.  I would love to see some very frosty days and nights and if we have snow I would like it be heavy and falling for several hours.  It seems like ages since snow has fallen in Thurrock.

Thank you Snow Queen for the warm welcome.  It has been a wet and miserable day with temperatures of 10 Celsius.  The rest of the week is forecasted to be overcast with no signs of cold weather yet.

Thanks, will post a more lengthy ramp once I've had chance to get a spare gas stove, extra food rations and a generator. We're gonna need it ! ;-)

i had been wondering what SACRA meant...lol... i get it now... im gonna enjoy this place during the next 4 or 5 months... i want a 2012/13 winter again... but without the dreadful let down of That ECM from December.... but still i would suffer another let down if the winter to following produced like Jan Feb March 2013 did...

I would rather another 15/16 than the useless slushfess that was 2013

A bit like a heatwave summer when the temp doesnt get above 25c

IMBY  .....
