Bishopton is a few miles east of me, miles away from Glasgow! Anyway, the snow is crazy here! A few inches with no sign of let up yet! pictures aren't uploading from my phone for some reason either. . .

Dude....pics??

Since turned back to sleet. Nothing like what others are sending in...

Don't worry, if there was ANY real snow there would be a photo attached!

Gawd it's lovely to see this thread buzzing with snow again. Wet snow falling here on a keen wind but not enough to amount to anything. Nice to see though :)

Looks like the highest Pentlands have had a covering overnight. Sadly played out here as pretty much every westerly based frontal event does! Still raining!

Maybe we should start a therapy thread? Too early to be jealous of snow reports elsewhere but it's getting to me LOL

Given the downgrade overnight in the forecasts I didn't expect anything! Been snowing here since around half 6.

2/3C and pishing it down with rain here, as expected. Couldn't see the local hills as I left the street as they were shrouded in low cloud. Happy to see some of you getting an early taste of winter though, love seeing all the pictures.

I love the gritter tracker, could sit here and watch them trundling round the Highlands all day - you can see when they stop to have a fag and a blether in a layby too, the map shows them stacked. At the mo, it looks like there's about 8 at the Longman depot in Inverness - breakfast time!

Oh the joys of t'internet.

Except I have a job (of sorts) to do...
