Beautiful day. Just walked the coastal path from Broughty Ferry to Arbroath in wall to wall sunshine. Temp has hit 17c at Leuchars but cooler along the Angus coast with a slight sea breeze. Spectacular.

Crackin day.

Just took a wee walk up the Eildons.

Some snaps, including one of snaw :shok:...

on the Cheviots.

As for this evening - emergency BBQ siren went off at our hamlet earlier. Getting lit as I write.:drinks:

Another absolutely glorious day.

Just back from a walk to the house from Lauder via the Southern upland way.

Last set of snaps for this week. Noticed some weird red colour in some above; didn't notice when using the phone to size and upload. Shall use the computer in future.

Spring truly sprung anyway. Very much taps aff.

Friday was lovely but hazy. Yesterday less haze (was a belter) Today bit more hazy again but still beautiful. Think it more or less been a dusk to dawn weekend of sun (won't last)

Two gorgeous days in a row here.

Car thermometer was showing 17C yesterday early afternoon when we were coming back from checking the beehives. One hive was pretty feisty on being opened up for the first time this year, the other much more relaxed. Both doing well though so hopefully Spring this year will be decently warm and much honey will be produced.

Knackered though after being out for a few hours of walking yesterday, followed by a fair bit of time in the garden today. I've even stuck some salad seeds in one of the veg plots. Under a sheet of plastic but much earlier than I've done so in recent years so we'll see if they come to anything.

Oh, forgot to mention yesterday that I lasted about 10mins working in the garden before I'd to go and change into some shorts. Me and shorts in March is a rare sight.

Slight dip below freezing again this morning (-0.6C) but again no real signs of a frost. Blue skies again, no wind and a nice crisp feel to the air. I could have done with the weekend being extended.

Another beautifully sunny day though much cooler here on the east coast with max temp near 11c. Looks much cloudier tomorrow but can't complain after three sunny days, especially over a weekend!

Great day again with a little more cloud  and a high of 15c. Dark evening as sea fog came in from the Firth.

Completely different this morning. 4-5C at 9am, lots of low, grey cloud and patchy drizzle. Hopefully that isn't the last bout of summer-like weather we see this year.

Another fine day with a misty start and sunny afternoon with a maximum of 16c. Able to appreciate the weather as we are up to date with stone picking. A crop that never fails come frost or drought.20170328_185307.thumb.jpg.03f83e0c5febeb3e35d4f4bee1cc5148.jpg

Cool and grey here today although shouldn't complain about 8c as the daytime max temp was only 5.8c at Inverbervie!

:cold:

Same again, just less of the drizzle, so far. Temp graph for Dyce has pretty much flat-lined between 5.5 & 6C since yesterday morning.

Very humid tday with some hazy sunshine in a thundery looking sky which would not look out of place in July Currently 14c

Buds opening on Horse chestnut really early now, never seen this in March. With the sudden flip from cold to warm would not be surprised to see it go back to cold suddenly . Really extreme weather.

At last we've got rid of the gloom. Mainly sunny but with broken layers of thin cloud. Temperature has shot back up into the low teens, probably due to a southerly breeze.

There's a distinct air of 2012 about in terms of the snow cover on the mountains and the repeated suggestion of where the weather is going as we move towards mid April!

Enjoying a rare weekend off and finally took the motorbike cover off for the first time this year. It wasn't as rusty as I had expected. My cat Luka has a fascination with any mode of transport and will happily go in any car & delivery vans. He is microchipped... Today he added a motorbike to his list.

Going to head out tomorrow since it is looking dry & sunny. Might head to the west coast but feel free to recommend some good roads/destinations.

Thanks!
