That darkest pink blob below the 1036 line is pretty slap bang over me and at 200 meters ASL and just about far enough west to hang on to the 0C dew points then I fancy my chances for something a tad more than a dusting tomorrow. Fingers tightly crossed for just one decent fall before the end of winter.

Get up early, get the kettle on, you might have some visitors!

Had a decent (albeit shortlived) shower of snow this morning. Briefly settled on roofs/cars but all gone again

Will do.... I'll certainly have the camera at the ready if it materializes

Heaviest shower so far in Edinburgh City Center.

Yeah, youngest HC got that too, he said 'useless, didn't lie at all...'

Thin covering here at Kinross services.

Snaw showers on and off on the drive from lauder.

Setting off for next leg to Carrbridge soon. Hills in the distance looking white so should be a picturesque drive.

Yep. Useless is right! The showers are at least getting heavier before they turn to rain later LOL

Snow showers on and off through the day in St Andrews but simply not cold enough to lie along the costal strip. There's a covering inland above about 150m. As Catch illustrated earlier the very cold 850s and 950s don't count for much when you have a warmer low level flow off the sea. Which is why anything east and south of east will never get me excited in winter!

Yes nice wee shower on here now lying readily. This mornings cover had melted away from the shade but going white again now.

Very cold now at -4.5c currently moonlit with some showers on  the horizon.

Snow shower on radar just a few miles to the east of me about to hit .Got to keep up with Aurora Storm who has dry lying snow east of Edinburgh this evening.  Can see its dark outline  quite clearly in the moonlit sky.   Will post photos in morning if we get a covering from it.currently -2c.  A comment from an old farmer .This is not the last snow shower of winter up here we have till  early May for that.

Update the snow shower has arrived.P2110387.thumb.JPG.d4346b89032e55ddaceb542898765bc3.JPG
