The Met Office radar has a band of rain heading for the Borders tonight. It's already below freezing here - so this is going to be snow is it?

Probably, to start with, assuming the upper temps stay low enough. It's kind of a lost cause though because it's going to turn to rain at some point.

Interestingly, yesterday's BBC weather app had the temp here for Sunday maxing out at around 8C. Today it has a max of 4C for Sunday. Hoping that, and the fact we're usually slightly cooler than the forecast, might mean the 1C and rain were due overnight might just turn out to be snow.

Some great photos from around Scotland today on here, looks like lots of us just had to get out and take advantage of the weather. Luckily for once it coincided with the weekend.

Radar suggest it is moving quickly and not breaking up. Be interesting to see what comes of t, but farmers been up and down all day spreading the fields.

After an overnight of -6c we started the day off with a good dose of this IMG_1029.MOV which was very nice indeed (hope it works) Some sunny spells after, remained at or below freezing, wee bits of ice showing around the place and everywhere a lovely winters drive

Expecting nothing other than rain despite the temp hovering around 0.5c. Snow to rain events from the west usually jump straight to rain here so can't see this being any different.

Cracking cold spell LOL

Rain (might start as snow but won't last) is not too far away. Oh well about to say goodbye to this spell (could have been better but did see some of the white stuff) better than nothing I suppose

Lightest of a light smurr here but it's wet, not white. Guess that's  the cold spell over for now.
