Moderate snow again here. Might get another hour or so looking at the radar, pretty much what the forecast said.

Light dusting early morning, slight thaw and now been heavy snow for last 30 mins. Still not covered the grass but roads starting to cover again. Definitely didn't warrant an amber warning!

Absolutely agreed.  Yellow was more than sufficient.  I reckon we have about another hour of moderate snow to come and so far after 4 hours we have less than 1cm!

Sleety rain with odd flakes here now.

It never fails to surprise me how much things can vary locally. I'm in Sheffield and it's been pretty much snow the whole way through, mostly light but some heavy as is the case now. Everything is white with a cm or two and even the roads are covered. Would have been nice to have a deep Yorks wide event.

some ppl doing well with a few cm!! Hardly anything in Bramley. Heavy stuff still to come over next little while though but we'll see

Hate that ive moved to low ground lol :wallbash:

I'm in Bramley and it's doing OK! If it were like this all day we'd have a good amount.

I'm on east side of Rotherham which is pretty much sea level, my brother lives up at Kimberworth right at top of West Hill and its been mostly Snow all morning up there. Distance is about 3 to 4 miles.

Edit... Snow coming down here now.

Think that was the last hurrah for this event. Looking on radar it's sleet then rain unfortunately. Maybe 2cm at a push.

Snow now the heaviest it's been all day, yet the Netweather Radar shows my area under rain!

Wife has just returned from shopping in Barnsley town centre and says the main roads are treacherous, even though we only have about 1-2cm.  Seems our council has done another fantastic job of gritting, despite the Amber warning!
