radar looks exactly the same as it did on 10th December. Its stopped just south of Sheffield so doubt well get anything heavy now. We need the heavy stuff for it to turn to snow. Only snow so far is Wales anyway :(

There is heavier ppn building to our SE,KEEP THE FAITH:D

Was hoping for a repeat of 3 years ago, that was very heavy snow in the end, got quite deep! Strange how the weather works, uncanny how its possible again on the same date :)

yes ive just seen that too. Literally all just changed in one frame!?

EDIT: seems to be a lot of evaporation though, radar shows snow up western side of sheffield, around Crosspool where my parents are, high up of course but theyve just told me its dry as a bone!

Raining steadily here sadly no drop in temperature so far which we will need for it to turn to Snow.

Yes,just need it to be heavier for evaporative cooling to take affect, there is some heavier ppn in Lincolnshire but will it keep it's intensity?

We just need it to pull in some snow. Wonder if anyone has jump leads powerful enough to jumpstart the old north sea snow machine.... it's not ran for such a long time!

What we thinking?

Seems to be coming into towards West Yorkshire. Maybe enough to provide a dusting to slight covering while it pivots.

Whats your temperature PIT before the front arrived? It's 0.c here I'm struggling to see it falling as rain.
