Am starting to believe them stories about governments seeding the clouds to warn away severe weather because this is not what was forecast. Snow everyday Tuesday onwards yet the forecast show zilch for this area.

Cold weather is not interesting by itself, these so called ice days won't materialise without snow cover.

I can't see that blob in the North Sea being just it, there must be something else brewing for there to be an Amber warning, does it grow in strength as it gets closer does it create more unstable flow from the East not sure to be honest?

Even looking at it in its current form (probably most of it off the radar scope), the bright colours on that would dump around 5cm in a very short space of time.

The forcast said snow showers Tuesday onwards. With the possibility of some merging into longer spells of snow. And it’s exactly what is still forcasted buddy.. ?

Definitely the system moves through and is replaced by heavy showers. The 5 - 10cm participation is just for the system alone some could see further accumulations as Showers become heavier Into Tuesday night and into Wednesday.  :D

Just to point out one is the 'forecast' and one is the actual of whats happening out in the North Sea. If the actual doesn't turn out to be like the forecast don't be disappointed. At the moment, the low hasn't developed as per the forecast. Its a smaller affair, but with heavier snow in it. Just watch it and see what happens, currently looks on track for Borders/Newcastle area and won't give as much widespread snow as the forecast. Just wait and see what actually happens.
