To show how pathetic this winters been this is the first time we have patchy cover in the evening this winter.

Not had chance to look at any forecasts, what's the timeframes?

Very light snow all evening in Hutton Le Hole but not settling.  Now starting to intensify to moderate but seems very wet so doubtful that we will get any accumulation.  Back home to Barnsley tomorrow, so no doubt the South Yorkshire snow shield will kick in...

Looks like precipitation coming closer on radar just hitting Doncaster will we get a covering or a soaking?

1cm covering now in central Lincolnshire. Some heavier showers now. Tomorrow is looking underwhelming. Low land snow is a no go.

Bits and bobs of light snow coming down here at Robin Hood Airport, not sticking but there's no intensity yet, maybe later who knows, big area showing up on radar to the NE but looks light too. Maybe a trip to North York moors tomorrow night be worth it.

Light snow falling here at the moment(and of the dry powdery type) leaving a slight covering but not heavy enough yet, there is some heavier stuff out in the N sea just east of bridlington that has pooped up in the last few frames on radar.

Latest band pushing in from a more easterly flow.  May interact with the slower band in front.

Some crazy charts around in the mod thread I've never seen so many ups and downs something is brewing let's hope it's the cold for once.

It has been snowing for two days on and off here now but has been very light and patchy but it has been of the powdery type and not the wet stuff, more heavier ppn aproaching from the east now and we could wake up to a good covering in the morning

Edit:as i type,i have just looked at the latest radar returns and it is definately getting heavier to our east:yahoo:

Your region looks a prime spot for next few hours, as long as stays right side of marginal inland.

Was heavy snow at 04:00 not back to flurries. Radar shows light precipitation only. Light snow flurries here so the warnings should be removed me thinks. U|nlikely to cover and likely to turn to rain easily enough as others have noted.

The less cold air has already arrived and turned the snow to rain overnight in Hutton Le Hole, so the snow that had settled has now gone.
