Tomorrow, especially early hrs,the day that did promise the most.Milder air coming in with the heavier precip. You couldn't make it up after this dross winter.

Hills might see a slight covering but rain and sleet near the coast and also lower ground if it starts off as snow.

Ready for it to end now and I'd like to say here's to a warm spring but you watch a big greeny high become established and a southerly tracking jet in the summer.

It's becoming more tedious the weather in this country imo.

Bring on the deep solar minimum lol.

Hello, was wondering if I could stay in here snow tracking with you lot instead of Southeast as the atmosphere is suffering in there because it isn't cold enough or snowy enough for an easterly

I do believe I'm in a nice spot aswell as some of you aswell, woken up to a dusting two days in a row and its actually snowing as I write this

Certainly interesting to see that the north sea snow machine has turned itself on. A good blob although headed more for Nottingham.

Snow should reach West Yorkshire though and it's still 24 hours or so before the better opportunity.

Showing mostly rain for my part of Leeds for the weekend although this is pretty marginal depending on the temp. Could fall as snow - history suggests....

Snow has turned much heavier in Grantham and radar looks good for a while- threatening to begin settling once more.

And true to form WY has yellow snow warning out.

I expect that snow Saturday morning to be heavy for a while.

We've essentially had moderate snow all day here in Grantham, lovely to look at from inside but wouldn't like to be out in it.

Odds on for a decent dusting here overnight as temps dive.

Edit: The mornings dusting which had retreated has now in fact returned on grass on other favoured surfaces in the last 20 minutes or so.

Just having a heavy hail shower now. Thin covering of white all over.

Hey@vizzy2004 what's the chance of there being some snow on Terrington bank tomorrow morning? I fixed the sledge last weekend be a shame not to use it...

If not, it looks like I might have to go to Xcape :(

Snowing well more graupal then anything else but giving a covering. Should soon stop though as I type. Looking after that that will be a fairly dry for a while.

Local forecast has snow tomorrow morning then sleet then snow for Sunday morning. Mmmmmm I'll see what the GFS thinks.

Looking at the latest gfs and this shows us just on the edge and could be dry. The stuff looks so light so yes it could turn to rain. Sunday looking suddenly very good.

Travelled down from Hutton Le Hole to Bridlington this morning then back this evening and have seen moderate snow showers on both journeys and whilst in Brid.  Mostly not settling except in a heavier shower this morning whilst driving through Snainton and Brompton where the A170 was covered briefly.  Still a dusting in Hutton this evening and expecting more overnight.  Just as long as the staff can get to the pub to cook my tea!

To show how pathetic this winters been this is the first time we have patchy cover in the evening this winter.

You should defo stay in this thread...we are a friendly bunch!  Hopefully Hunny is not so Sunny, and you get a bit more snow, although not too much elevation in your area but a lovely part of the country...we love the coast between Hunstanton and Cromer and spent 3 weeks a year staying near Wells for around 20 years and had some fantastic holidays but only once saw snow when we stayed for a week over new year a few years ago.  Horizontal snow from the East on Wells beach was interesting!
