The North Sea still looks active to me. Although not sure what is out there beyond the normal radar range....

Morning All.

I get the sense there is a lot of happy chappies in here this morning and rightly so Im sure March 2018 will be remembered for a long time.

Not too sure how active it is out in the North Sea from the image below , although plenty of lake snow effect still evident, hard to see if we will see anything as active as yesterday or rule out any surprises later today as uppers around -12 with an unstable atmosphere

One things pretty obvious though, it looks very cloudy today so no or very little melting from the sun :)

Difficult to get exact measurements this morning anything from 0 to 12cms drifts a lot deeper, wind has really blown it around

I'm very impressed with what Crossgates woke up to! Especially given it's late March! Gives me renewed hope of such a setup happening earlier in the Winter season.

NOTHING AGAIN.

Barely 1cm on the grass, all the roads and paths just wet with nothing much on now. That's two easterlies and two failures in one month. March 2018 is certainly a month to remember alright.

Great sight opening the curtains this morning :D looks to have snowed all night!

About 4 inches here, but it's blown thin and drifted all over the place in some areas, quite deep drifts.

Definitely equalled beast 1 depths, maybe even more here :cold:

Had to dig my way out of my house before a walk round the district. The road was cleared by a plough as I cleared my paths. Some local roads shut but muppets ignoring the signs.

WOW Pit, Sheffied has done well from this one. Beats beast 1 easily. Here are some pics from a shirecliffe, Sheffield North.

Just had a little walk out and it's mad to see the drifts that are halfway up my shins next to the odd bone dry patch of concrete, a good blanket has been dumped, more than BFTE 1. Lots of icicle on the house when I went out the back to put some bird feed out.

You wouldn’t believe some of the numpties around us. We live on a steep dead end and the three roads running parallel are even steeper but stupid drivers still attempted to go down the roads. Two roads down at the top end there are two cars parked right across the road wedged in by parked cars all up n down the road. Bonkers

Average depth was 10cm with bigger drifts. Way better than beast 1. Winds were much stronger and mental white out conditions! What a March this has been!

Some more pictures. The road had just been ploughed so roads much better than they would have been.
