Just bad luck. If you were 30 miles north it would be snow at your asl.

This band is quite slow moving its forecast to pep a tad and slow you can see that on the radar we may get 3cm before nights end :-)

snowing now here, slight covering on cars and some surfaces but dont think we'll get much tonight in all honesty, fronts nearly passed now.

Im waiting for the main course in about 24 hours time though

You can see the intensification as the colder air filters in on the last 20mins of the radar. We have proper snow but no settling yet but evap cooling should be starting to kick in the next 15mins! How much do you Have?

All surfices covered here now,the snow is of a fine powdery type and is fun to watch blowing in the wind in all directions

Heavy snow North Sheffield now. Still the wet sort... but we know that will change. Car, grass and roofs covered now. Real intensification recently!!

Tomorrow is exciting. Direct easterly, you can’t go wrong in Yorkshire.
