Powder snow falling here,great to see it glistening under the lamp post,it is very fine but is settling quiet quick,lovely stuff.

Right guys and girls I think it’s time for me to head into my spring summer slumber. And hopefully see you all back here nov dec for the next chase. Take care everyone. @terriertake care my friend after this week I will be doing exactly the same. hopefully this is signs of things to come winter wise..:D

 And for anyone else reading this when I say that I mean proper winter winters not the problems it’s caused / Causes as all weather types have there own hazards..?

It seems to be dying of death now so i am going to call it a night,i could be wrong and we wake up to a foot of snow,nah!!!

the only foot i will be seing in the morning is my own one:rofl:

Just thought I would have a peek at the radar as there is moderate snow falling with fine flakes and I have a new dusting.

Seems to be some intensification of the front going on over our region at the moment.

Some places may get a cm or two after all given it doesn't appear to be trundling North very quickly?  :)

Looks like another cm overnight, the front seems to be dying out over Yorkshire though now, still some heavy bursts over Lancashire/Cumbria though. 

Its been a great week, especially midweek, and the first time here in 5 years where we've had good snow that has lasted well. 

The good news from my point of view  as this spell peters out is that we are getting very close to the time of year where we can get decent warmth to give us a taste of the hunt for plumes, storms and barbecues, but still the chance of a snowy blast for a few weeks left for those who are up for more! 

Gave a good weekend all.

Yes, same here, a fresh fairy dusting of light snow.
Hope that evil freezing rain doesn't materialize.  So dangerous.
