The road near my house my subaru winter car with winter tyres 

Anyone thinkingof a 4x4 buy subaru 

Driving in snow drifts all day never got stuck.

Who needs a  £50,000 Range Rover .

My subaru here about to challenge a 2ft snow drift. 

For the record it manages it no problem.lol 

Are we all ready for another Easterly blast next week from the north east this time our turn for an amber warning 

Just been greedy really lol..

Enjoy folks anyone wants advice on subaru cars message me I've had Subaru's 23 years.

our little Vauxhall Mokka 4x4 has got us everywhere we needed to be too, our MOO car (the missus's private reg - last 3 characters are MOO, long story!!)

Put the kiss of death on the snow now stopped. Temps the joint highest of the day -2.3C once more.

Love my forester, always take it to the limit on days like today. Fab car now 14 years old had it from new.

It's just as important to have the right tyres to my scooby is running on 

Goodyear Alpine Grip on all four corners.

Reports of severe disruption up in the usual places around Buxton, huge drifts building up on roads etc.

Certainly a memorable cold snap, now around 16/17cm of snow here and we have some huge icicles hanging from the gutters, brilliant to see

Feel bad for all them still stuck on the m62! Apparently the wind chill is around -15!! Some have been on there hours and it doesn't sound like they are going anywhere soon. Real emergency developing ?

It's maybe time for the Red Cross 

Or the Army To help."  people have a real risk of hypothermia setting in if there car runs out of fuel.

Very serious situation developing indeed.
