if they are then thats good for parts of south yorkshire, chesterfield, derbyshire,

Looks like some more organised shower activity just approaching the Lincs coast that may have our name on it if it carries on intensifying?

It would look that way! that wind is strong and its really pushing them inland! and group together like you say more heavier bursts! :) good times

Winds turning more E as we head into the evening, this is why I'm hopeful for more activity in this area later on.

That would certainly tie in with the Yellow warning being extended South tomorrow?

Freezing uppers and thicknesses are here for another 24 hours or so yet so conditions should still be ripe for shower development on a straight Easterly into our region?

I think that's northern part of region and me England imo.Hope it stays further south though.

Next batch of showers just passing Hull now should make it to Leeds. Hopefully we catch a line.

Currently -3.3c here!

Pretty astonishing for lunchtime on 28 February!

Just shows the depth of the cold overhead!

cant see the radar on met due to demand but please tell me these will approach leeds area later :)

Netweather radar is superior bar it's range into the North Sea.

Yeah, with the angle of the wind anything that is in the central/northern bit of the Wash should get here.
