Look at that massive gap to the ESE of here. The weather gods really are having a laugh now.

Don't start me off... Will it help when/if the wind changes direction? Had a great start this morning with thundersnow and heavy showers.. Nothing since!!!

Bit of a gap here at the moment, its -2c despite the sunshine although the sun is having an affect on the snow.

This is my next area of interest on the Satellite image heading towards North/West Yorkshire.

I think that's northern part of region and me England imo.Hope it stays further south though.

This is brilliant in a Sheffield. Building with speed and blowing. Wow.

AND Philip Avery just mentioned about the new Amber warning covering South Yorkshire, it was exciting that he specifically mentioned Sheffield getting heavy snow showers!  Bring it on.

Not such a flop after all.

Do you think we'll get any more in north Leeds cheese?

Not a clue! I hope so though (and I hope the bloody sun stops coming out).

Absolute blizzards here with drifting snow! Must have around 5-6" on the ground right now.

Edit - I suppose my altitude is helping a fair bit :cold:

Well sun is out in hudds now. After my initial thoughts of streamer heading this way. It now looks to be dying a death over West Yorkshire. Good look South Yorkshire your gonna get hammered with snow.

Oh thank you. I really don't understand those fax charts

Streamer just about clear of us now.  I can't work out whether that Amber Warning issued an hour ago is for the streamer that is just moving away or whether they are expecting something else to pop up?

I would suspect it is for the existing streamer as the warning looked in line with that when it was issued and there is nothing much on the radar in the North Sea at the moment but it is valid until 4pm so who knows?!

Anyway we have about three inches of snow on the ground at the moment so can't complain either way!  :cold:

Don't know why I quoted you Tinker Bell just rambling to myself sorry!
