Is there a chance we will get hit here in Leeds? Or is it just south yorks?

I remember some time in 1995/96ish.

An area of precipitation(snow)moved out of the low countries, moved nnw over the region and dumped about a foot.(Friday eve I think).

Not saying that'll happen but hopefully give us All,sausage especially a few inch.

I'm staying up again lol.

Knackered at work today from last night.

Set three alarms again swearing is not big or clever it?????

I hope the precipitation develops vastly so the whole region gets something from it. Will be nice to see some uniformity all round.....

Well what a surprise for sheffield, I almost gave up. We now have two inches in North Sheffield from only a few showers....can only imagine what a treat the north east is getting!

Anyhow, prehaps no need to worry about the current gap...have a look at the met office radar that covers a wider area. Doesn’t matter if the winds will go NE or SE, there are plenty of showers brewing in the colder uppers over the North Sea.

Is that a Radar image or a forecast of precipitation?

Looks like the winds have turned to more of straight Easterly direction....

Not yet they haven't but should turn easterly on the coast soon:)

Does hull look like getting in on the action ?

Apart from the odd light flurry it doesn't look like it, at least for the next few hours anyway.

The gap I think is moving slowly northwards.

Storm Emma looks a little less intense on the 18Z than the previous run, at Sat 00:00 (+78)

That’s a radar image- it’s carried forward from the last radar I believe. The next scroll would be the forecast.
