It does look to be moving straight west out of Denmark

This wind direction change has freed us from the shelter effect of the North York moors I guess. Last few days there was an obvious effect as the showers went over the top. That and the increased wind speed, we should be better placed for a while.

dont forget motion though >

continued motion as winds change -

Id say radar watch is in order !!!!

Yeah point definitely taken. Will depend on how close to the South East the initial motion takes it before it starts heading North West. What time do you think?

This second shower has given us our deepest cover of the winter, roads and grass all covered completely. Looks to be a period of light snow following, then a drier slot as winds go more due east. Hopefully as the wind strengthens, we will pick up more before morning. Good luck and good night all!

Well I think writings on wall now thinking about it, a few lucky places in yorkshire may see a couple of inches or so but those geordie ****** are going to get a pasting lasting 48 hours and we are going to have to watch all this happen just to north of us whilst we get scraps.. Our showers are just too scattered and not as intense..

This could have been us looking at charts a few days ago but na, they get it again. Killer was the winds are expected to go SE or SEE rather than NEE or E....

I may have something to measure tomorrow morning. Meanwhile it looks like whats showers we have will die away in a couple of hours.

I think for parts of South Yorkshire ESE winds would be better than NE, the NE winds have delivered nothing here over last few days.

Yes, agree Harsh but I'll be happy if we can carry on like this lol.

Just had another 15min heavy burst that put a cm or two down.

Just hope things can develop out of the blue for us.

Looks like lots of showers coming out of Denmark and northern Holland that could have our name on them - you should look at the bigger radar these images are to big to post and not worked our how the reduce the file size yet.
