from what I gather more of west and south yorks will be included in this warning

If the gfs charts are correct it could be a nightmare commute on the roads with the heaviest snow forecast about 4am - 8am. Thankfully I'm off with cold!

Looks like some better showers moving in from east coast now. Should hopefully see activity pick up throughout the day. Anyone of a nervous disposition don’t look at the icon for Friday. :diablo:

get well soon - I'm hobbling with a sprained ligament so if the other half's car can't get me to work tomorrow I don't care much for my chances hiking there :) (even getting the car off our street is a nightmare at the merest hint of snow).  Let it come when I'm at home please, so I can appreciate the spectacle.

Looks better for prolonging the cold Easterlies to me?

Unless your talking about the heavy snow from the South not reaching us?

I have to say I would prefer a continuation of the cold and no blizzard given we will then get to keep the copious amounts of snow we should receive before Friday.

Just my opinion and possibly not shared by everyone I realise.

Has everyone seen the streamer off the South coast?

What a great example.. would of loved that across Yorkshire.

Latest radar shows near continuous light snow from West Yorks to east coast. Hopefully will get heavier as the day progresses.

I would actually call it moderate currently.

Yes it's picked up here too, along with the wind.

Anyway, just goes to show how pap the met office app is.... currently snowing and looks likely for most of the day. The app shows no snow for my area until 5am tomorrow.

Well although the radar is showing constant snow here in Hull. Apart from a medium shower at 9am nothing is falling out the sky at all. West Yorkshire is getting heavy showers so how come cause the further east the better according to what everyone's said! Anyways loads of time for it change just confuses me how it's missing us in Hull.
