We (Barnsley) desperately need the wind to swing around a tad more Westerly and we may then be in with a chance of a shower.  Just one would be nice!

Yeah we need the same here in Rotherham down the road in Sheffield have hit the blob!

Sorry to brag but amazing here, heavier than the radar suggests, sideways snow at times as the wind picks up.

Enjoy.  Glad somebody round here has some snow to shout about!

VERY hahahaha! it is supposed to change back more Westerly around 11pm to 12pm but I'm unsure what the shower activity will look like!

Hopefully still decent considering that is when yet another yellow warning kicks in but given the recent performance of such warnings I am not holding my breath!

Winds will begin to turn more and more Westerly from now. There is a very pronounce streamer for South Yorkshire bad West Yorkshire on the Euro4 by midnight so I'm hanging in yet

Yeah that's what I am hoping for too.

Looks like this second 'blob' might be a bit more promising for our area.  Still might dive just to our South though not sure.

That second lot is following the first lot,if you run the radar back, they are in the exact location,so another miss coming up:nonono:

I think the second blob will miss. I'm watching the blob coming out of Scotland towards Cumbria. That is on a much better trajectory and is intensifying with more behind. Could be our 11pm-12pm streamer

Edit you could be right it's started on a slightly further north trajectory we should get something
