Can't see this coming to anything. Front is almost stalled and breaking up before it reaches Sheffield from the front.

Not had more then 1cm all winter so far, rubbish... :nonono:

Dunno mate seems plenty behind it for this afternoon - just a bit of a gap where you are currently

Well we've had light (very occasionally moderate) snow since 9.00 am, pointlessly floating down onto wet ground.............. Nice to look at I suppose

Agreed.  Have you had much snow up there just outside the Arctic Circle this Winter?!  :D

Had about 7 hours of light snow, occasionally moderate, today on the edge of the North York Moors.  It initially settled this morning then thawed and then settled  again this afternoon as it intensified.  Now stopped as the front has passed through.  Not expecting any more this week, but it's been good to see over the last few days.

Light snow off and on briefly heavy now back to light stuff. The cold spell failed to deliver anything of note once again and we still haven't recorded a day of snow lying. Pretty poor in that regard this winter.

I'm looking forward to next snow event whenever that maybe. Must admit quite a disappointment today. Chance Thursday/Friday maybe but not much hope,. Maybe do better when this ssw kicks in. Easterly showing on gfs12 fantasy island but that's like I say in fantasy island. I feel the lack of snow pain too. Feels even deeper also today has the Yorkshire chosen one has gone to Leeds a scum lol

None in the foreseeable future. May get a bit of snow in showers but that looks like it.

Considering we actually had a yellow weather warning today was a massive disapointment. We had a slight dusting but it turned back to rain in the end as the temperature has now actually gone just the wrong side of marginal.

Currently 1.6C with a dewpoint of 0.2C and pretty wet and miserable out there.

It's now 5 years and 1 month since we had measurable lying snow with a very real chance we'll reach 6 years if the next couple of months don't deliver. Never thought I'd be saying that a few years ago.

yes 5 years seems a long time since we had any lying snow in hull,we never seem to get the northerlies now, that used to deliver heavy and frequent snow showers down the east coast and also easterlies rarely deliver.west or north west winds don't produce much in this area and are just not cold enough.

Snowing in Bempton when I got home at about 5. A very thin covering. Turned to wet snow/sleet now, just a degree or so too warm for proper snow. (Note it was getting dark when picture was taken, darker than the picture shows)
