I leave for an hour come back and the radar has exploded into life.  Should be some heavier stuff piling through soon!

I have a covering on most surfaces except the road but that may change soon!  :cold:

There are some huge showers just North of Dublin that may have our name on them as well looking at the radar?  Our post midnight occluded front maybe?

Let's not forget the coldest H500 temperatures kick in midnight onwards so this can only intensify

Hey.

Nice return on the radar right now coming West to east through Sheffield to us, a nice top up looking likely. Tonight's fun looks like an occluded front coming through in the early hours so I'll be opening the curtains with one eye in the morning lol!

Could be an 'interesting' commute tomoz!

How infuriating that Barnsley has been sat under sleet on the radar for the last half an hour when everywhere else is snow!

Don't forget the ppn type radar isn't accurate. I learned the other week that it's model driven and not a true radar reading. I'd be surprised if it's not snowing for you now, were under the coldest air right now overnight ?

Sorry call me a technophobe but i don't know how haha showers have merged over the pennines showing heavy snow till 11:20 at least
