Precipitation coming over Southport has Huddersfield and Barnsley's name on it.

Anything over Blackpool says Leeds.

I would say south of that, even barnsley south WO79,winds veering WNW by the looks.

Light dusting here up on the Lincolnshire Wolds, the snow radar look like a chunk heading our way. I'd love to be snowed in we have a full larder, wine and a squirrel log burner that perks coffee up nicely.

Between 18:00 Wed 17th and 09:00 Thu 18th

Snow showers are expected during Wednesday evening before a spell of more persistent and possibly heavy snow develops in places during Wednesday night. Any persistent snow is most likely to clear east before dawn on Thursday but further snow showers are likely to follow. Travel delays are possible on roads with a risk that some vehicles and passengers could become stranded. Delays or cancellations are possible to rail and air travel. Some rural communities could become cut off. Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone, may be affected. This warning has been updated

Luck of the draw now mate, some should do very well and others could narrowly miss showers and not get much
