Snow just stopped here after a number of hours. Looks like that was the last of  the main band.

EDIT: Nope, started again, lightly but persistently.

Very disappointing here on the Yorkshire coast, a dull wet morning with no sign of snow +3C

Light rain in Barnsley now, so that looks to be the end of our Amber warning snow event in the south of the region.  Nice to see some snow, and better than earlier this month, but still somewhat underwhelming.

After a morning of heavy sleet, it has finally decided to turn to snow. Unfortunately just a slushy covering in places. A shame as Bramley (similar elevation) / Dronfield are under 10 miles away from me!

I am not heading out now this morning up the peak,i sneezed earlier and got the pain back in my ribs,not good,so i may have to go to A&E to get it checked out,something is not right

oh!,on a good note ,the hook back in ireland looks like heading this way and is turning more to snow

Been snowing most of the morning, but I don't think added to the depth since half 8 or so. Looks more sleety now. About to venture out...

Radar has me under rain now but it's still snow - albeit very light, small flakes.

Snowing in Malton now steadily after a period of rain/sleet. Looks very wet, although settling on frozen areas.

Well that was a bonus. 4cm of snow. Now stopped and never turned to Rain. So we are still in the cold sector.

Well I only learned this morning that the ppn type radar is not accuarate, its model driven! I did actualy think the radar could distinguish between a rain drop and a snow flake (which should be possible nowadays) but alas it is not!

I wont be taking as much notice of it now that I know that
