Solid snow in LS12, not a classic event but it is a solid event with full coverage and one or two drivers struggling on. Side roads.

Coming down quite heavily in LS12 now.

Good result here, at last! Up in the Pennines it's been heavy snow here for a couple of hours, looks set to continue for another 30-40 minutes at least.

After the last couple of sickening southward shifts I thought we might miss out again, so my faith has been a little restored for the coming year!

It's the Barnsley snow gap.  You can guarantee it every time! ☹️

Very difficult to tell what’s coming from the West due to radar anomalies.

Light dusting early morning, slight thaw and now been heavy snow for last 30 mins. Still not covered the grass but roads starting to cover again. Definitely didn't warrant an amber warning!
