BBC app has picked up on the precip heading further north than originally thought-

Saddleworth (moorside) now showing snow later on- bodes well for those east of the pennines :)

Could also trend another 30miles+ north. Defiantly a now cast situation

Looks bang on using netweather extra radar and  NetWx-sr so no movement further north since the 6oz run.

LOL heavy snow removed again.  However the rain isn't far away looking at the radar so the forecast is dodgy ground.

Light rubbish on the radar is just cloud, nothing hitting the ground.

Here in Leeds city center right now I think I am actually at the boundary of the nice sky and angry looking cloud.

Front certainly looks further North than shown on GFS and NMM for 17.00hrs.

Up early for work and delivering all areas around Leeds first thing, but don't think I'll see anything, kinda hoping I don't as the truck is rear wheel drive :nonono:

Yes its 0.9c here with a dew of -1c, but looks like will will mainly miss out on the precip.

There is a small chance tomorrow morning as showers come in off the North Sea along the east coast in the morning, whether or not they will fall as snow, sleet or rain is another question.

Potential for you guys later LBA TAF showing snow from 0200hrs

I do think this is going down the GFS route of pushing the PPN further north

Than METO are forecasting.

Are we looking at a West Yorkshire pivot on this system moving north. 50 miles south ... Going to be close. In going for a dusting in West Yorkshire rather than the covering the Midlands will see.

Its a knife edge for West Yorks, if we compare the radar to the EURO4 position the front is already at the position it should be at 9pm. That could either mean its further north or its just pushed through a little earlier than predicted, we'll know in the next couple of hours.

Must admit radar looks a bit more promising for our neck of woods compared to last snow event fingers crossed. PPN looks like it starting to swing round a bit more

radar looks exactly the same as it did on 10th December. Its stopped just south of Sheffield so doubt well get anything heavy now. We need the heavy stuff for it to turn to snow. Only snow so far is Wales anyway :(
