Thanks - I will be expecting about 2 inches in Bingley. Best not get to excited at the moment.

Where abouts in Bingley are you?.

If we can squeak a slight correction north,I'm happy.

Whatever falls won't melt anyway.

Also if that low spinning up from South on Monday can deepen.........you never know.

Curious. I cant see how some areas can have 8 hours of heavy snow (as per BBC & METO) but only end up with 2" of it as per some of the snowfall totals....

Stick to the met and BBC if that changes you worry.

The model thread is great but very south based.

Some very knowledgeable people but when you have a Amber warning on your location I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks,  sort of thought that. Been reading every winter since the 2010 snowfest and noticed if it wasn't looking good for the south not much got said. Injoyed reading over the years learnt a lot even the other half asks me every winter now how its looking. Looking forward to Sunday I'm on shift from 7 till 5 (AA patrol) might get interesting.

Still living in hope in North Yorkshire, not seen a decent snowfall here in nearly 5 years, just lots of small coverings here and there. Rumour has it the ICON 12z has it spot on :D

18z better if you're in southern parts of our region, but not if you're slightly further north as the snowline apoear to have shifted south.
