Everything looks further west on the radar, so it'll be interesting so see what that second heavier band actually brings. GFS 00z looks wrong at even 9 hours out, it shows the milder sector 50 miles further east.

Just seeing some light stuff blowing past lamppost mate looks like fine snow though

That's just an initial area of light snow before the main band 50 miles or so further north. That's where the mild sector will be if it is present as the models say.

Fingers crossed though, its still cold enough at the moment.

The guys further up the coast on the second band are saying it's heavy snow

Looks like we might even get some snow out of this here in South Yorkshire.

That band approaching Leeds / Bradford actually looks like it's intensifying!

Friday morning snow drama you can't beat it!  :cold-emoji:

Small covering after light snow over the last hour or so, patiently awaiting the main band.

Temp 0.5c Dew -1.3c so were in good shape.

Wow just woke to look out the window and the window is plastered with snow.  Coming down heavy and blowing right at the house. Radar looks possibly another 1-2 hours of it. Woo hoo.East Morton.

Struggling to cover here lower down now melting as fast it falls. Alternating between light wet snow and slightly more moderate wet snow. Luckily the winds are less than forecast and at moment seem to be going down the western side rather than east judging by xcweather

One of my live camera's is getting rather covered http://www.sheffieldweather.net:82/en/mjpgmain.asp
