That a looks to me like the precipitation is further west than was showing for this time in last nights forecast!

The App shows rain not far from my location a bit earlier then I thought ?  Is it coming in faster ?

I will soon switch to most reliable method of forecasting 'looking out of window'

Looks like being a sleety affair for us on the coast! Dissappointing but I just want to see some snow falling to be honest feels like a long long time!

Yes seems like a long time since we had some snow around here.

Suits me, the slower the better! Finish work at 8, don't want snow earlier because Southeastern rail will instantly implode

Yes

also PPn friday morning @10am in low dewpoints = a better chance of snow away from coasts

T30 GFS sightly more atlantic amplification-

ALL eyes on sunday eve PPN for prolonged wintryness !

I'm guessing that means may be less intense but better for accumulations and more of it turning to snow?

I've already managed to put the wind up the Boss by saying I hope we don't all get stuck on Bluebell Hill again like in 2010, Really She said, I said yeah could we'll be disruption.....I obviously ramped it a touch and now we are leaving work an hour early :)

It's a nightmare on a clear day let alone wet, ice and possible snow!

Good Morning All, 5c Dp 1c in West Ipswich this morning, thought i'd come in and take a seat for what will hopefully be a nice long performance and some fun and games for all, over the next week.

I'm by Brighton racecourse at about 400 ft ,any chance the snow will settle here later ?

I am too.  We normally get it the same as the South Downs, but then go down Bear Road and it's always sleety slush on these occasions.  I am feeling we might be lucky this high.  Not a lot, but a little snow :)
