Thomas is a breath of fresh air!

Most forecasters seem to wet their pants over 'mild' weather.

So, let's take a look at where we stand in terms of Hi-Res modelling this evening then:

nmmbfr_nmmb-26-31-1.png?11-19nmm-26-33-1.png?11-17arw-26-31-1.png?11-17aromehd-45-33-1.png?11-17arpege-45-41-1.png?11-16

Conclusion - Clueless! As to be expected when you have 4 uncertain variables to play with

he is truly rob macs love child !

What's funny is he's actually not, I asked him this on Twitter yesterday and the response was he actually much prefers the warmth. Just fortunately enough he's an enthusiastic enough forecaster to get excited no matter what

Does that really matter, SB? It ain't going to change the weather, is it? Even the late, great Bert Foord would often end his forecast with, 'at least it'll be mild.' And that was way back in the 'swingin' sixties'!:D

Rather annoyed that i'm working a 10-8 shift tomorrow and Friday so I wont be able to track the radar on either snow risk day, but hoping to step outside of work at 8pm tomorrow into heavy snowfall and if I'm lucky, settling snowfall too!

I'm expecting mostly rain here tomorrow with the odd bit of sleet and wet snow. Still, can't wait, as sad as that is.

It'll be my daughters (1 year old on the 21st Jan) forst time seeing snow if it arrives before her bed time. :snowman-emoji:

No it doesn't matter, I just like a forecaster that doesn't treat cold weather like it's the end of the world! Tomas is great as he's enthusiastic and seems to enjoy proper weather and not mild drizzle like many of the others.
