The low this morning was exactly the same as yesterday lol -4.7°C its still below freezing now, not bad for here.

Unusual for here, but we've avoided the fog. Bright and sunny atm. Still hovering just below freezing

As for the mod thread, I've found a feeling in my bones more accurate than some of their ridiculous fantasies!

.. bit of a strange one here, this time yesterday it was blue skies, bright sunshine and 6°C with frost still on everything. Today, its 1.9°C and the ice and frost has completely thawed. I wasn't in the fog warning today, but  it was thick early on this morning, before lifting, now it has returned with a vengeance!

Temp: 2.1°C - Hum: 98% - Dew: 1.8°C - Bar: 1032.00hPa - Wind: W @ 2mph.

Interesting because here in Bournemouth it's bright sunshine, with a few mist patches whilst @ home it's 0.8°C , so I suspect foggy too.

Having a laugh at the model thread with some saying no sign of cold when it's absolutely freezing right now and has been all week with continued frosts likely!

Yes the fog can melt frost pretty quick once above freezing. I am sat above it luckily so I have my hard frost still in situ but I just drove to wells to pick up a few things and fog was rolling in off the levels down there, very gloomy. -0.1c still here but it will rise above freezing soon.

Here's the extent of the freezing fog over the region at the moment. Stark contrasts around because of this in the space of a few miles. Here still in the sun the temperatures are around 5C. In the foggy bits near freezing and gloomy..

The map should show it to be a thinner with fog over Bournemouth as the sun has been shining since early this am, go inland slightly and it's a different story. The over map seems to concur with feedback from others on here.

So not only the frost pocket but the fog pocket of the UK today..

Got very foggy here again now, cleared at little earlier on but still misty.

Temp 1.9c after a high of 2.6c

The frost has got thick enough in shaded areas to resemble a minor snowfall! Quite beautiful to see it in the nooks and crannies and valleys along the edge of Salisbury Plain. As I drove from Warminster to Westbury I could see the edge of the fog in the distance.

Very cold last night with a hard frost and a low of -3.9°C. Another cold clear day today with a high of 7.7°C although still frost on the ground that stayed in the shade all day. Current temperature 3.8°C.

Got up to 6C today. Positively balmy. Temps dropping away again now. -1.6C

A top temp of 3.7°C here, with thick fog lingering most of the day - certainly surprised me!
The fog now, is the thickest i've seen for quite a few years, i can't even see to the top of my garden, which is about 30m away lol

I see a fog warning has been reinstated..

You can get some variation of weather across our designated region. This morning with a min of +5C and a T_g  of just -1C still a thick frost with ground fog/mist. Today clear sky became broken Sc and a max of 10C

Similar sort of thing here now, a daytime max of 3.8°C, and now down to 0.5°C. Can see a lot more moisture in the air tonight already.

Shows the difference in a few miles. No fog here and got up to 7.7°C.

Another glorious day for outdoor work,frost in the shade for 3 days now,really thick frost on the grass,icicles seen for the first time in a while and sub zero on my return home,some of the trees in the sun still look great.
