I don't know if anyone else is seeing the same thing, but my weather station is currently saying: Temp 8.9c and dewpoint of 1.3c

I think the fact the dewpoint is so low while the temp is high can only be a good thing once the temps start to drop???

I thought mine had gone wrong as well!!

Will the fact that dewpoints are low, not help with chances of precip falling as snow?

I can only presume that they will rise again before falling aong with 850's. By the time they drop sufficiently, will we have the precip is the question

I think it's a case of the PPN arrives there at a later/better time when the colder airmass is a little more entrenched in the south generally.  If the PPN was arriving there around lunchtime, like it is forecast to arrive in our area by, then the SE would be seeing rain too.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for a kink and change in orientation so the precipitation hangs around a bit longer as the colder air arrives.

I feel a trip to the Mendips coming along on Friday morning if Nights King's forecast comes off. :D

Looks better to me with snow snow further west which gives chance for a more prolonged event - I may be wrong

Yes looks to clear the se later on the GFS 12z. It's minimal but with 2 more runs to come, we could be in eh
