It seems the front has now moved onto mid Wales and the Midlands.

Is that it now, snow wise for the SE Wales crew? The forecast this morning talked of snow into the eve and night? Has this now changed? Cheers

the low isnt doing what the charts said it would do.  right now,if that low pulls up the channel, as it SEEMS to be doing this past 2 hours, it will pull along all of that stuff to your west, right over all of us

We want all that stuff over france to keep going east so when then low moves up it comes over us.:)

That stuff over france could possibly come our way with a bit of luck.

Here too - the laurels (it's a shrubbery! Ni!) are holding snow on their leavesI hope the bids find somewhere to hunker down...I have an untidy garden so there are places they can get out of the snow.

Come back and see how the precipitation developers over Northern France as it  heads north.

surely if the low is going the OPPOSITE way to what it was forecast to do, that changes everything? anyone else think so? will be interesting to see if this trend continues over the next two hours. the centre of it should be sat off the SW tip of the UK at midnight according to GFS. to my untrained eyes on the v7 radar, snow SEEMS to be being pulled back EAST, towards Swansea?

Still pasting it down here! I'll be digging myself out for days.  Just measured on decking .... 21 inches fairly evenly and much higher than that in parts! Madness. My garden is mostly sheltered too!

yeah, a DEFINITE eastwards movement of all of the associated precipitation of this storm, all of the way out to the west of Ireland. it's very subtle, but there

This is why  we want everything to keep going east so when it gets near us we get the snow.  This is as close as the low gets to us.

but the last two hours, it has gone the OPPOSITE way to what was predicted, and at midnight, it needs to be sat off Lands End. this is knife edge stuff. could make a huge difference to what happens next, imho

it was the 'channel low' that did us in 82 if i remember correctly, and also, again if i remember correctly, they didn't have a handle on what it was doing, at all.

we need the Eastenders boom booms here.....

Is that due to hit us? Surely as the low pulls away it'll be dragged over us?

It's developing nicely  let's see what happens in a few hrs
