Where do you work Rhys?

In an office at Albany Trading estate near the new Sainsbury's. In at the moment. Main roads not bad but side roads not brilliant. Probably be heading home within the hour!

Is this slow progress from France going to cause any issues at this late stage? Cannot work out which way it's heading it's so slow!

Thinks it’s moving at good speed personally. Earlier in east but 6/7pm further west.

HERE IT COMES

It's amazing, no melting at all just waiting for the main course the sirloin steak and trimmings maybe some lobster.

Just as long as it covers my big bald patch! LOL

Nope. 3pm is around the marker. I suspect it will stall and pivot aswell as it hits the easterly winds. Should pick up moisture as it traverses the channel with 850s and thickness

If you have a netweather radar subscription change the locality to Europe and look at the size of that storm pics above don't show the half of it.

Can’t see any topography stopping that. Perhaps inland right in shadow of beacons etc and mid-west wales.

but for Swansea and west etc, surely it won’t stop the heavy nature of this precip? Let’s see

Waiting very patiently here. My partner just looked at me on my phone and said, "you're on the weather forum aren't you." Ha. Of course I am! I need to keep up to date and keep praying.

One side of the road clear the other a good covering with the snow blowing over that side. Proper drifting later if it does snow heavy

So who puts the red lights out / warning  tape etc to mark out the red death zone ?

Is that the councils or met office responsibility ?

Cant see the bbc doing it ....

Wait til it's done and sneak out and move it over a bit. Hey presto - unexpected life-threatening weather!

Main band progressing nicely...

My only concern would be it splitting in two, as some of the forecasts showed and half heading up the Brecons and half heading to E coast of Ireland.

Hope doesn't happen, but something to keep an eye on...
