    Looking at radar it looks like snow on and off until later this afternoon then boom. BBC talking 10 cm but double that on high ground with blizzard conditions. Even 4 inches going into drifts will cause serious problems. Has there been a shift west? As lots seems to be going west rather than north now or am I wrong.

    Well, Derek Brockway has advised me to stay home today and not go to Newport for work and I think I'll be listening to his advice. Really nasty outside at the moment. -7c and heavy (albeit fine powdery stuff) snow coming down and being swirled around by the wind ❄️❄️

    Light blowing snow, -5c. Wind east at 25-35mph. Bit of heavier stuff out at sea, come west you bugger

    yep. It's started. Earlier than forecast last night. Immediate coverage as expected with -7c. Not going to get above -3/-4 today whilst blowing a 45mph gale. Quite unbelievable. Can't recall anything like that. And its 1st March.

    Someone better tell the met office it’s snowing in Bynea near Llanelli very light but yep snow and what does the app say? Yep you guessed it dry as a bone ??

    Its logical for me....when ive got a Blizzard blowing outside my patio doors and snow piling up........i wouldnt go.....life is too short as it is.......
